ZEROGRAVITY
ZeroGravity is a unique technology (patent pending worldwide) that allows the spring tension to be quickly and simply adjusted to perfectly match the weight of the roller blind, no matter the width, fabric weight or tube size. As a result, the roller blind
always remains in perfect balance. A smaller “Mini-ZeroGravity” allows the same to happen for very narrow roller blinds to just 300mm (12”) wide.
The roller blind can be raised and lowered by simply urging the base rail up or down by hand with little effort. No chains or cords are required, making this product ideal for spaces where children may occupy the room or building. The unique design uses a specially developed balanced spring that counteracts the weight of the blind, reducing the normal lift effort by up to 95% while keeping the blind in perfect balance throughout its travel.
Finally, ZeroGravity springs can be fitted to SunBoss clutches to create ultra-light operating roller blinds that can be sold into premium residential and/or commercial applications.

HARDWARE
There are a few standard hardware requirements for Roller Blinds like the size of tube (S35/S40/S45), chain controls, and size of brackets that don’t specifically require selection (but can be altered upon request). Once the fundamentals are taken care of there are countless other optional hardware components that do require consideration before ordering or quoting for your customers.

Once the fundamentals are taken care of there are countless other optional hardware components that do require consideration before ordering or quoting for your customers.
CHAIN CONTROL OR SPRING CONTROL
Chain Control Rollers make up 99.99% of the Rollers we manufacture, but there is the odd occasion where a more traditional style Spring Operated Roller may be required.
As we said above, Chain Controls are a fundamental part of the Roller product, however there are some colour options.
Current Chain Control colour options are Pure White, Black, Silver Grey, Sandstone, & Barley.
The type of Chain is also an option, you can choose from two types of metal -Nickle Plated Steel (NPS) or Stainless Steel (extra cost)- and plastic chain that comes in convenient pre-looped sizes ranging from 50cm to 200cm in increments of 25cm. The current plastic chain colours are Pure White, Sandstone, Barley, Silver Grey, & Black.
Child Safety regulations dictate the securing of chains if they hang lower than 1.6M from the floor and we offer a couple of options for this task. The Universal Fix Chain Tensioner and Chain Tensioning Hook.

Standard Easy-Lift Stop Springs offer traditional operation and should only be considered when the top of the blind is reachable by hand. They have a Stop Lock operation which allows for manual height adjustment and can be finished with a variety of hems or base rails. This type of roller blind stands as the most Child Safe product next to Motorised blinds due to the absence of any cords or chains.
STANDARD BRACKETS
Standard Bracket options are limited and will only need to be considered when dealing with extensions. If you have thick fabric and long drops or require extending the projection of a blind to avoid obstructions, such as face fixing on an architrave, there is a 55mm version of the standard 40mm bracket to address these situations.
The 40mm Standard VX Bracket offers multiple fixing points and a rounded profile to match the contour of the Chain Control & Idler.
The 55mm Standard LX Bracket offers the same fixing points and footprint as the VX but is not available with the VX-style profile.

The Easy-Link™ system for Roller Blinds was designed to allow for multiple blinds to be controlled using a single motor or chain control system. Achieving minimal gaps between each blind, the Easy-Link™ system provides the perfect addition to the Easy-Lock range.
Easy-Link™ components are compatible with the Easy-Lock system and come in matching colours: Pure White, Sandstone, Silver Grey, Black, & Barley.
Further options include the Uni-Link bracket which provides angled solutions up to 90 degrees, and compatibility with the Combo Square -X brackets for day/night applications.
